TARGETED RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL THERAPY
Our practice focuses on the treatment of patients with internal radiation therapy, termed 'Targeted Radiopharmaceutical Therapy' (TRT), primarily in the setting of oncologic disease. As a board certified nuclear medicine physician, I offer a safe and comfortable environment in the outpatient setting to receive specialized current and emerging TRT therapies. Current indications we treat are thyroid cancer, metastatic prostate cancer, lymphoma and metastatic neuroendocrine cancer. We work in close collaboration to coordinate your care together with your oncologist, endocrinologist, urologist or other referring provider.
PRE AND POST TREATMENT CONSULTATION
Through a holistic approach to medicine, I try viewing each patient as a whole rather than a single symptom to be treated. This is just one of many techniques I employ when establishing a new patient relationship. Your health deserves proper care and attention and I’m able to provide consultations before, during, and after your Targeted Radiopharmaceutical Treatment (TRT). CLINICAL TRIALS
In our continuous effort to improve the capabilities of diagnosis and management made possible through nuclear radiology and nuclear medicine, we strive to offer patients the opportunity to participate in clinical trials of emerging molecular imaging and therapy agents. Clinical trials at our practice are focused on the emerging field of 'Theranostics' which aims to combine a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging agent for diagnosis and planning with a Targeted Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (TRT) therapy agent for treatment. We aim to provide patients early access to new investigative agents and participate in their ongoing evaluation in clinical trials seeking FDA approval in the United States. Many of these agents are already being utilized with promising results abroad in Europe and Australia, but are only just now beginning to become available in the United States.
IMAGING BIOMARKERS CORE LAB
Our practice is helping to reinvent the future of medical imaging through the evaluation and development of new and improved imaging techniques. The goal of the Imaging Biomarkers Core Lab is to provide clinical research and development services supporting the translation of new promising imaging techniques into patient care. We provide clinical investigation support through our core laboratory imaging interpretation and quantification services. Areas of focus include novel medical imaging techniques with potential for meaningful impact on patient care paradigms, such as applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image augmentation.
